1. Attukal Bhagvathy Temple

   
   Visitors come from every corner of this world to celebrate Pongal festival here. In this festival, they cooked rice with ghee in an earthen pot over a fire till the rice boils over. It is said that, if rice boils which means worshiper’s wish is accepted by the goddess. So, if you really want to be the part of this surmise ritual than come here on Kartik day of Kumbh month. Another interesting thing about this temple is that it is made with a combination of Kerala and Tamil architectural styles, and is withstanding very gracefully.

2. Sree Padanambhaswamy Temple

   
   It is one of the oldest Trivandrum Sightseeing. It mesmerizes every visitor with its magnificent ancient architecture- windows of colored mica,  sloping tiled roof, beautiful interior like the shiny black floor, craving rose chairs, painted ceilings, relics, and a huge magical bow made of mahogany. 3. Puthen Malika Palace

   

   This palace is also known as Kuthiramalika palace, it is built by the SwathiThriunal Rama Varma on the southeastern side of Padmananabhaswamy temple. This palace is the two storied and exhibits huge numbers of artifacts. It is one of the charming places to visit in Trivandrum because of its one specialty that only traditional sound used reflectors are used here. And the sound effect they produce really outperforms of the modern sound systems.

4. Kovalam Beach

   

   Kovalam beach has amazing teal water, offshore coral reefs that it makes perfect getaway, tightly-tinted sand, are pure paradise. It’s truly one of the best beaches in India and has waters with an average 27 centigrade temperature, so it’s not too hot and pretty comfortable. One of the interesting things about this beach is that it itself divided into three parts because of rocks- Hawa beach, lighthouse beach, and Samudra beach.

5. Neyyar Dam and Wildlife Sanctuary

   
   This place is situated 29 km away from the city. This wildlife sanctuary has around seven lions, roaming freely in their natural habitat. The dam is built over the river Neyyar, located inside the wildlife sanctuary. There are bus services is for the visitors so that they can watch these lions closely. Along with that visitors can enjoy a boat cruise in the Neyyar dam.

6. Agastya Mala

   
   This place is for trekker paradise, it is the trek, which your trekking power, offers you jaw-dropping scenic sites while trekking. Visitors can also see many thick stream waterfalls and small rivulets as you reach to the peak point. For trekking, forest department charges some reasonable fee and issued for the months January and February, so book prior.

7. Shanghumukham Beach

   
   In Trivanduram, Shanghumukham beach has long been amongst the favorite place for travelers. Not just because of its blue crystal waters and close proximity to the airport because of its beautiful mermaid structure called Sagar Kanayaka.
