Coorg or Kodagu is the most beautiful and picturesque hill station in the Western Ghats. It is situated at the eastern slope of the Western Ghats. Being an important and hassle-free Hill Station in India, Coorg is well connected via Air, Roads and Railway to other major cities of the country. Road travel is the most preferable option to reach the beautiful Hill station, a road trip to Coorg allows you to enjoy scenic and picturesque views of Western Ghats.

  • How to Reach Coorg by Flight?

    The Mangalore Airport is just 160 km away from Coorg and is the nearest airport to Coorg. Coorg doesn’t possess its own airport. Mangalore Airport has good flight connectivity with different parts of the country. Regular flights of Air India, Indigo and Spicejet connects Mangalore Airport with major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad.
    From the Airport road travel to Coorg would be the best choice because it is well via NH66 and Mangalore to Coorg route also has very scenic views.

  • How to Reach Coorg by Train?

    As such Coorg doesn’t have any railway network, however, Mysore Junction is the nearest railway station to Coorg at the distance of just 95 km. There are several regular trains connects Mysore with the major cities of India like Chennai, Coimbattur, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Once you reached the Mysore railway station, you can hire a Taxi or board into state transport or private Bus to reach Coorg.

    Coorg is well connected via NH66 and some other state highways. Deluxe buses are provided by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to reach Coorg. It is well connected with Mysore, Bangalore and Mangalore. You may also reach here by renting taxis.
