Omkareshwar Temple
Amongst the holiest shrines of India is the Omkar Mandhata temple. It is located on the Mandhata Island and at the meeting points of the Narmada and Kaveri rivers.

  • Kedareshwar Temple

    Constructed in the 11th century, the famous Kedareshwar Temple is one of the most notable shrines of Madhya Pradesh. Tourists and the devotees are attracted towards this place from around the globe.

  • Gauri Somnath Temple

    One of the biggest shrines of Khandwa District in Omkareshwar is the Gauri Somnath Temple which has been dedicated to Lord Shiva and has been constructed in the Bhumji architectural style that is star-shaped. The building is a three-story structured temple and is in a form of a peahen. The Shiva Linga has a height of about 6 feet. Another attractive sight of this temple is the idol of the Lord Shiva’s ride Nandi.

  • Ranmukteshwar Temple

    Situated at the convergence of the Kaveri and Narmada Rivers the Ranmukteshwar temple is a place where the pilgrims come to offer gram beans and pulses. They do this offering due to a belief that says by offering the pulses, their debts would also be washed away.
