How to Reach Jaisalmer

1. Travel by Air: The airport of Jaisalmer has chartered flights being a military airport. The travelers can hardly use these flights. So, Jodhpur airport makes it easier to reach the city by air because it is the nearest airport.
2. Travel by Air Train: Jaisalmer has a wide and a good network of trains that cover most of the cities of India. On reaching the railway station you may hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw from outside.
3. Travel by Bus: There is no direct bus service for Jaisalmer but you may need to switch in Jaipur for reaching the city.
